Psalms 23. The Lord is my Shepherd.
When you proclaim that the Lord is your shepherd, you are saying that you are under another authority. Gods authority. This means you must trust in the good shepherds decisions, no matter what they are.
The good shepherd is calling you to the table he has prepared for you. How frustrating is it when you cook for a child and they do not want/appreciate the meal. This is what it’s like when the Lord leads us through tests and we do not appreciate their worth and do not let them do their work in us.
May we dine with the Father of lights in the midst of darkness.
